Software
Leader Services designs software geared to meet the needs of special
education. Its products address the needs of school districts,
local education agencies, intermediate units, and charter schools,
as well as state-level education departments. A few of Leader's
current software offerings are below, though Leader has several
other web-based products that support our Medicaid-reimbursement
services in multiple states.

IEPWriter.com
is a web-based IEP Writer currently implemented in Pennsylvania formats, though other state formats are under consideration. With IEPWriter.com, users can create an IEP from any computer with
a web connection and a modern web browser on both Windows and Macintosh platforms. IEPWriter.com is a
secure hosted web application, available
over the web on a subscription basis.
Features include centralized
management, allowing multiple users to contribute to an IEP;
a shared and customizable goals and objectives library; documents
generated in PDF format; school-wide reporting; SIF-compliance (PA version); and a comprehensive
form and letter-generating capability, from invitation letters
to evaluation reports and more.
IEPWriter's Children Count module allows LEAs to track data necessary for the annual child count/Penn Data reporting process. More information...
ADVANCED
Compliance Monitoring (ACM) is a state-level Compliance
Monitoring solution, designed to assist states in meeting the needs
of the
Continuous
Improvement and Focused Monitoring
System (CIFMS), a model developed by the federal Office of Special
Education Programs (OSEP) to ensure school district compliance
with IDEA 97 and IDEA reauthorizations.
Leader customizes the solution to meet the needs of a particular
state by developing an online self-assessment for schools undergoing
monitorings (including the new focused monitoring initiatives),
followed by integrated reporting, and tools for development of
corrective action

Federal Monitor is a state-level monitoring solution for federal programs. State education agencies must monitor their school districts' compliance with federal requirements for grants received by the schools (Title I, Title II Part A, Title II Part D, Reading First, etc.). Leader's solution allows school districts to complete a self-assessment over the Web prior to onsite review by state authorities, followed by an ongoing web-based corrective action process. The web-based workflow eliminates the delays created by a paper and mail-based process. More information...
